Our twilight weddings begin at 5 pm as the day softens into dusk, creating an intimate atmosphere as the sun sets over the countryside. Perfect for couples who love the idea of a more relaxed, elegant evening celebration without the formality of a sit-down wedding breakfast.
Exchange vows in a choice of beautiful indoor or outdoor settings before moving seamlessly onto dinner and dancing. With the manor bathed in warm light and the gardens glowing at golden hour, a twilight wedding at Downham Hall feels effortlessly enchanting.
Venue & Service Inclusions
- Venue Hire: Exclusive daytime use of the Georgian Manor House and Grounds (from 5pm – 6 pm), ensuring a private celebration until midnight.
- Preparation: Dedicated use of the elegant Bridal Dressing Room from 3:00 pm.
- Ceremony Choice: Flexibility to choose your ceremony location, whether it’s an indoor ceremony in our elegant De Beauvoir Suite framed by tall bay windows, an intimate ceremony in our light and airy Orangery, or an outdoor, garden ceremony overlooking our historic moat and grounds.
- Service: Seamless management of your day provided by your professional Wedding Coordinator and Front-of-House team.
- Entertainment: Use of our luxury, heated Marquee for the evening reception, complete with an award-winning DJ.
2 AA Rosette Standard Food & Drink
- Welcome Drink: One reception drink per person
- Canapés: Choose from a selection ofdelightfully crafted canapés
- Evening Feast: Choose from our popular, beautifully presented buffet, relaxed BBQ, delicious stone-baked pizzas from our outdoor pizza oven, or playful fish & chip cones, meaning guests can stay on the dance floor. All our wedding reception food is crafted from our 2 AA Rosette awarded kitchen.

Included as part of your wedding package is the Englefield Bridal Suite. This romantic haven features a comfortable super king-size bed and contemporary décor Unwind after the final dance in your luxurious en-suite, complete with a walk-in shower and deep bath
