Step into the festive magic of Downham Hall this Christmas. Our Festive Afternoon Tea combines the elegance of our traditional service with beautifully crafted seasonal treats from our talented pastry chef, and includes a glass of Prosecco or soft drink alongside a choice of teas and locally roasted coffee.
For a truly celebratory experience, join us on Saturdays when a live singer fills our festively decorated Georgian Manor House with seasonal music. Prefer something a little quieter? Our Friday sittings offer the same wonderful menu and all the festive atmosphere, without the live entertainment.
Friday afternoons are £40 per person, Saturdays £45. Downham Hall is situated between Billericay and Wickford, a short drive from Chelmsford, and surrounded by beautiful Essex countryside.

Served on a three-tier stand, your afternoon tea includes a selection of seasonally themed delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked plain and fruit scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam and tempting festive cakes, beautifully crafted by our talented pastry chef from our 2 AA Rosette kitchen.
